Compassionate and Effective Counseling Services
Welcome to Tinker Creek Creative Counseling, where we believe that each person is unique and deserving of care and attention. If you're looking for a counseling service that truly cares about your well-being, then you've come to the right place! You will not find white walls, lab coats, or motivational posters. We understand that traditional counseling approaches may not work for everyone, and that's why we offer a more creative and empathetic approach to help you achieve your goals. You may even find yourself chatting with Sully the dog or a llama when you visit us. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and supported as we work together to help you get to where you want to go. So if you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, we're here to help you every step of the way.
Our practice incorporates play, art, sand tray, Animal Assisted and traditional talk therapy, to accommodate different personalities and concerns. You help choose what feels most comfortable for you. We provide individual, family and couples therapy.
We work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, issues adjusting to new situations, mid-life concerns, stress, anger management, attention deficit, and relationship issues. Symptoms related to these issues can include feelings of hopelessness, lack of interest in activities that used to bring pleasure, changes in appetite, significant weight gain or loss, difficulty sleeping, excessive worry, irritability, mood swings, and difficulty concentrating.
Our research-based counseling methods are designed to help you thrive as we work together to overcome hard situations. Everyone on our counseling staff is professionally trained and licensed or license eligible. Each brings their own experiences and specialization to the mix. If you’re looking for a supportive, comfortable, caring, and a safe space to help work through life challenges, Tinker Creek Creative Counseling is here for you.
